This is a help guide to take you through the steps of Image Compression. Once your images are smaller in sizes, it allows the pages on your site to load faster.
Step 1. From the SEO Doctor App dashboard, click on “Optimize Your Store”
Step 2. Click on “Image Optimization”
Step 3. It automatically brings you here. Click on “Image Compression”
Step 4. Before you begin working on the compression, click on the “Import Images” button to import all your images to the SEO Doctor App.
Step 5. To start, select any one of the options from the “Select Compression Type” drop down menu. The “LOSSY” option is considered the best. Click on “SAVE” when you are done.
Step 6. To compress the images, you can either optimize them one at a time, or do a bulk optimize. Follow the steps in the image below if you want to do a bulk optimize. The first step allows for the “BULK OPTIMIZE” button to show for you to click on it.
Step 7. To optimize them one at a time, go through STEP 5 and click on “Optimize”. Do this for each of the remaining images to have all of them optimized.
Step 8. Once you are done optimizing, you are updated on the compressed size. You also have the chance to revert the image to its original size.
And that is how you have your images optimized. This usually takes some time if you have quite a number of images.
